In a blog entry outlining the incident, the EC reported identifying a cyber intrusion on its Europa.eu platform on March 24. "Immediate actions" were implemented to mitigate the breach, allowing the Europa sites to remain functional. The EC's internal networks were not compromised, and the organization stated it would persist in "observing developments and implementing all required steps to safeguard its internal networks and information."
